The lengthening and loosening of your muscles will also make you more flexible.

Yoga helps you achieve good posture. Working at a desk all day might cause you to start slouching, which is unhealthy for your back and shoulders. Most of the poses used during this workout require that you keep your back straight, in order for them to be effective. Having good posture is not only healthy, it will make you look slimmer and surer of yourself.

Even if you do the routine in your home, it is better to start with a beginning class. This way you can gradually advance to the next level . You will also get to mingle with other people who are also taking the class. Some instructors offer private lessons, allowing you to train from wherever you feel comfortable.
